In accordance with the latest Ofsted regulations and guidelines, our Junior Adventures Group Clubs work with ratios on a venue-by-venue basis but never exceed 1:15. Our clubs are staffed to meet the individual requirements of each of our venues to ensure the safety and welfare of children within our care. Alongside Ofsted's recommendations, we also take into consideration the professional qualifications our staff hold, the layout, space and location of our club and the age range and needs of the children when staffing our before, after-school and holiday clubs. Our expertly trained teams of Junior Adventures Group staff are enthusiastic, inspiring, passionate individuals who act as coaches and mentors for the children and live by our values of be considerate, be passionate, be trustworthy and leave a positive legacy. They model the values and skills we seek to promote and are trained to nurture the knowledge, skills, behaviours and dispositions our children will need in an ever-changing world. All club staff are DBS-checked to Enhanced Level and hold qualifications and/or have extensive experience in playwork and childcare: club managers have a minimum Level 3 in Playwork (or equivalent), and the majority of the remaining team will be at least Level 2-qualified in Playwork (or equivalent). Additionally, all staff receive ongoing training in various aspects of child supervision and care, including behaviour management, child protection and activity delivery. We also have a paediatric first aid-trained member of staff on-site at all times.
