World Cup Football – A fun, active way to end the school week

This Summer Term, we’re bringing the excitement of the football World Cup straight into the school week with World Cup Football taking place on a select day each week — a brand‑new after‑school club designed purely for play, fun and match action.
Every week, children can swap the classroom for the pitch, representing a World Cup team and jumping straight into games and mini‑tournaments. No drills. No pressure. Just the buzz of football, teamwork and friendly competition to finish the week on a high.
Club details
When: Weekly after school during the Summer Term - Check your school page for confirmed days and timings
(From 11 May to 10 July)
Who: Years 1 – 6
Format: Matches and weekly tournaments
Cost: £5 per session – parents must book the seasonal session and sign up to the full course
A World Cup-inspired club
Inspired by the excitement of the World Cup, these sessions are all about playing the game — not practising it. No pressure. No drills. Just football. Children will:
Play matches with friends
Take part in mini-tournaments
Build confidence, teamwork and friendships
Each child joins a World Cup team, with matches building towards a fun, tournament-style experience with medals and recognition along the way.
