Sessions & Availability
At Dawn Until Dusk Pre School, our name says it all. Childcare from the early hours through to the evening, supporting families with a full-day solution.
We’re open 7.30am–6.00pm, Monday–Friday, term time and during school holidays.

Funded Childcare Places
We accept 15 and 30 hours of funded childcare, funded places for eligible 2‑year‑olds, and a wide range of payment options including Tax‑Free Childcare and childcare vouchers. This flexibility means families can access high‑quality care that suits their needs and circumstances. You can find out more about funding and eligibility through the Best Start in Life website.
For families accessing funded hours, a general voluntary fee of £1 per funded hour is applied to support the wider costs of delivering a high-quality experience. This contribution helps us provide snacks and meals, as well as access to Additional/Special Events. Families have the right to opt out of this fee; we simply ask that you notify us if you choose to do so.

If you decide to opt out, the following charges will apply where these items are provided by the Pre School:
Snack: £1 per session
Breakfast: £1.50
Tea: £3
Additional/Special Events: £7.50–£10 (charged on an ad-hoc basis if you wish for your child to take part)
Uniform: £10
Support for eligible families
Charges are waived for families who qualify for:
Early Years Pupil Premium, and/or
Low-Income 2-Year-Old Funding

Curriculum & approach
Our team delivers the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) through a balanced mix of play and structured learning. Children develop their communication and language skills, grow personally, socially and emotionally, and build confidence in physical movement both indoors and outdoors. Early literacy and numeracy are introduced in playful, engaging ways, alongside creative exploration and activities that help children understand the world around them.
