Here at JAG, January has been an exciting month as we've eagerly introduced you to "The Adventure Programme." It's set to completely enhance our wraparound care, and by the end of January 2024, all our clubs will be operating with this upgraded programme. 

So let’s explore what’s new! One of the key pillars that make ‘The Adventure Programme’ truly exceptional… It's a Research-Based Programme developed to enhance their life skills and explore their interests! What does that mean for your little ones?  

Exploring the Pillars of Development:

The JAG Adventure Programme is crafted with the aim of nurturing essential life skills and cultivating your child's interests. How? We've identified four core development pillars: 

i. Quality Caregiving

ii. Nutrition

iii. Rest/Sleep

iv. Play 

Each pillar plays a vital role in your child's growth, and we're dedicated to providing experiences and activities that revolve around these pillars. 

Backed by World-Class Research:

But what sets our programme apart? It's not just about fun and games (though we have plenty of those too). The Adventure Programme is built on the foundation of meticulous research conducted by global experts in child development and play. 

We've collaborated with sector leaders such as Robyn Munro-Miller, President of the International Play Association (IPA). She says,

Play deprivation has serious physical and mental health implications for children. The work we are undertaking with JAG is an exciting step forward in addressing that deficit, drawing on the depth of international experience and local expertise to embed play in daily practices at a service level”

In addition to Robyn's insights, we've drawn inspiration from renowned organizations such as The LEGO Foundation and the UN Rights of the Child. Their research forms the backbone of our programme, ensuring that every activity is purposeful and aligned with the best practices in child development.
